I'd like to think that everyone can remember at least a few [great] things about childhood.
Maybe yours was getting all dressed up for Halloween.
Maybe it was hanging out in the back yard with the family watching your grandpa grill chicken while your grandma yells "don't burn it this time".
Maybe it was playing Barbies or GI Joes.
Or maybe it was watching TV late on Sunday nights from inside a fort in the family room... I miss those forts.
How about feeling like you could ride lightening speed on your new bike.
Maybe it’s squirting pudding through the gaps in your teeth.
Milk out your nose.
Maybe all you can remember is the feeling.
Adventure, Carelessness, Love, and my favorite Imagination.
Think back.
Think back.
I Remember.
I Cherish.
I want that feeling more often.
I want that feeling more often.
I think all of us need to have more time laughing as long, hard and as loud as we want. Just like we did as children, because its funny. It was that funny. It didn’t matter if anyone else thought it was. You laughed until your stomach hurt.
You said I love you almost as often as you blinked (I still do).
Because you were a kid. And that is just what kid's do.
The world got bigger.
Even though we may not look like a kids, or live like a kids. But that doesn't mean we can't still feel like a kid.
Last week we took our bikes out after dark, rode to the public park and played on the swings... Then last night when hubs got home from work the house was transformed into a treasure hunt... just so I could give him a new socket set.

I love this!!! Just what I needed today!
