Its that time of year again Kim @ The Newly Woodwards is hosting the Dare to Do it Yourself Blog Party! Today's topic is Dare to be thankful. We were supposed to make our own DIY Thanksgiving project.
I loved the look of Moss & Silver at Pottery Barn last year and took note... Then I took note again when YHL posted this photo they took there.
So here's what I did, I rolled foam balls in two types of moss.
Sprayed Pine Cones Metalic Silver...
And placed it all in a natural weave basket...
I loved it so much but I knew someone that would love it more, my Aunt Lois. So this weekend while we were up at her property hunting I did just that.
Here it is sitting in its new home:
I just love how it turned out. I'm sure this isn't the last you will hear of me making moss balls and spraying something silver paint :+)
