Baby Guilt Trips & Sponsored Posts.

Before I get ahead of myself (like I always do) I'd like to say that there were TWO days of giving her bottles of the last of my stored breast-milk before I decided to buy formula. So last night when I got home and made her a bottle I wasn't surprised that she gulped it down.

Then last night came.

Apparently she decided that she no longer wanted a bottle or formula. It's day one kid, not cool momma wants needs sleep. The only thing she wanted to do was nurse on me. Every two hours. Throwing in a bite every now and then - for good measure I guess.

Then the sun came up and I prayed like hell today would be just like yesterday… you know having a baby that would drink out of a bottle.

Of course not.

So about an hour ago. After nursing her and then nursing her again, this dry cow laid her sweet little crying baby on the floor for oh, two minutes and let her cry. I'm a model parent. Then I picked up that very upset baby and offered her a bottle.

Every drop that went into her mouth was forced back out and all over me.

So I tried again.

And again.

And again.

Finally after wearing half the bottle she decided she was indeed hungry (the heavens parted) and she drank the damn bottle.

Apparently supplementing with (that f word again) formula is going to be harder than I first thought.

Why? Because nothing is life is ever easy (except being awesome)

Now on a completely un-realeted note, I need to 'talk business" with you.

After three years of turning down sponsored posts I've decided I'm finally destitute enough to justify them. I joke. Sort of. Sure I could sit her all day justifying it by telling you that I'm unemployed and write for free 99% of the time but you know that. And honestly it's totally about the money. Your shocked right? But someone needs to support my wine and cheese habit so it might as well be me. I

So here's my promise to you:

Anytime I publish a sponsored post it will be TITLED as such. You'll know exactly what it is before you ever click on it. Obviously if your interested click away I'm pretty funny sarcastic after-all I might surprise you. If not come back when I'm up to my regular antics letting it all hang out super hero style.

Capishe?

I'd love to hear your thoughts. But just in case you're pissed and think I'm a sell-out here's another cute baby photo.

Happy Thursday Friends!

It's been a week since I've been here so I apparently have some catching up to do. But dude - I'm cool with paid posts. You have to make money some how. I'm just glad you are doing it without selling drugs or yourself lol.

  2. I'm sorry baby girl was having a tough time. Don't beat yourself up for using formula, I had to in the end and there's nothing wrong with that at all!! Hope she gets used to it. Maybe talk to your pediatrician if she doesn't do well with it after a day or two?

Sending you love and luck pretty mama!!

Maybe you shouldn't sell yourself out for monetary profits.

Your little girl is cute - good for you so people would love to make money by working from home anyway they can. Forget the mean person.
